Quakertown Borough sponsors a summer recreational camp for children ages 7—12 from June-August. The program is K.I.D.S.— Kids Involved Doing Something. The K.I.D.S. Camp is held from Monday – Friday 9am – 3:30pm for children ages 7-12.
2017 Fee Increase: The Quakertown Borough K.I.D.S. Camp has been a staple of the Quakertown community for over forty years, providing a safe, fun, and positive environment for local area children. The camp program has grown considerably over this time. The average daily camper attendance has gone from forty-five to nearly two hundred in just the last decade alone. As the program has grown, so has the cost of staffing and supplies. To ensure the long term sustainability of the program, starting in 2017 both borough residents and non-residents will be charged a weekly fee for each registered camper.
Residents will be charged $50 per week/per child, and non-residents will be charged $100 per week/per child. Registration will become available April 3rd. If you have any questions about the registration process, please contact Parks & Recreation at 215-536-5001.
