America Recycles Day Book Drive

November 15th is America Recycles Day, a nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling in the United States. In honor of America Recycles Day the Quakertown Borough will be hosting a children’s book drive.  Drop off your new or gently used children books at the front desk of Borough Hall starting Monday, November 7th through Friday, November 18th. Borough Hall is open weekdays 8:30am-5:00pm
 
The books will be donated to a local organization that promotes reading by distributing books to children free of charge. We thank you in advance for helping us promote both reading and recycling! Please contact the borough’s parks and recreation department at 215-536-5001 ext 136 with any questions that you may have.
