Bring the Spring inside with your own flower that will never die. In this Spring Flower workshop, you will learn hand building, glazing, and texture techniques to create your own unique flower to decorate the center of a table or hang on your wall. All instructions, materials, and firing included. Flowers will be delivered to the Township 10 days after the original class date. To conclude your adventure, you will be treated to a wine tasting and tour of Mt. Did you know that there are only certain species of plant that will survive in wetlands and bogs? Some of them are carnivorous! Join us to discover these amazing plants and their care, and leave with new bog-plant companions. Led by Penn State Extension Educator, this workshop with delve into various wetland types like fens, swamps, and bogs, highlighting the plants and animals reliant on these ecosystems. Participants will receive three bog plans, growing medium, a planting container, and care instructions to nurture their new plants at home.

The Penn State Master Watershed Stewards of Bucks County are offering a Build Your Own Rain Barrel Workshop. Penn State Master Watershed Stewards will guide you through the process of constructing your own, fully functional rain barrel. The workshop fee includes a plastic 55-gallon drum, all the necessary parts, and assistance to build your rain barrel! Each barrel is 44 inches tall and 24 inches wide at its widest. Your completed rain barrel can fit in the empty backseat of most sedans. Please bring appropriate transportation to take your barrel home.Master Watershed Stewards are community volunteers with a passion for environmental stewardship. They are trained by the Penn State Extension to educate the public on best practices in environmental stewardship utilizing unbiased, research-based information.Details: When: May 23rd, 2024-1st session: 6:00 pm-6:30 pm-2nd session: 7:00 pm-7:30 pmWhere: Memorial Park pavilion (600 W.
